MUSCAT: Forbes Middle East has revealed its annual list of the Top 100 Arab Family Businesses for 2022, honoring the region’s most successful legacy businesses, many of whom have been handed down through several generations. The ranking reveals the conglomerates moving into new-age industries and technologies under the leadership of the second and third generations. 

Omani headquartered family businesses are also in the list with six entries, while Saudi family businesses top with 37 entries, followed by the U.A.E. with 25, and Kuwait with eight entries.

From Oman, the Saud Bahwan Group led by its chairman Mohammed Saud Bahwan has been ranked 15^thin the list, followed by Suhail Bahwan Group led by its chairman Suhail Bahwan Group ranked 18^thin list. The Zubair Corporation led by chairman Rashad Mohammad Al Zubair has been ranked 32^nd, while MB Holding Company led by chairman Mohammed Al Barwani is ranked 62^ndand Mohsin Haider Darwish led by Lujaina Mohsin Darwish and Areej Mohsin Darwish has been ranked 70 in the list. WJ Towell, led by Vice Chairman and Managing Director Imad Sultan is ranked 95^thin the list.
